WHAT THE HECK IS AN ANGLE SWEATER?!     Well who wears pullover sweaters?  It seems to me that the feminine world of fashion wears sweaters without zippers, buttons or snaps. I find that when I'm getting dressed up, to go out - I apply my make-up first, while wearing a pretied bandanna.  Then when I'm all dolled up and ready to leave, I can easily put on my ANGLE SWEATER.  The angle seater goes over my pretied bandana or any head covering (Sombrero excluded!). I can pop on my funky hat or wig (with a slip not - wig grip underneath of course) as a head covering and I am good to go.   Below is an Angle sweater that has a bit of a cowl neck for easy on and off. This knit sweater is sometimes called a PONCHO. It is warm, cozy and dressy too. I love how the sweater just drapes beautifully on a dramatic angle with a point worn in the front.  My favorite is the most practical color- LOL yes, BLACK. The most forgiving color in a girls closet.  

LICE! If my daughter brings home just one more note from the CDC I will freak! Since winter break we have been receiving these notes home explaining what Pediculus humanus capitis -AKA- headlice is and how to get rid of them. The teachers have called all the parents asking to put the girls hair in braids or buns. That's a great first step but it leaves many still exposed from those itchy jumpy insects.   I have sent my daughter to school in these awesome kids pre-tied. She feels totally hip and I feel totally safe. Just typing this article has me itching! At the YTT expo located in Lakewood, New Jersey. Many apparel vendors were there showing their new merchandise. It was really amazing to see so many businesses flourishing. I saw something else that deserves a lot of our attention. Cheap imports. Some clothing retailers began importing items such as from Asia. Aside from being politically incorrect, the merchandise is far inferior. Can you believe it?! School is almost out and summer is here. This crazy winter is behind us and the fun is about to begin. As a very active person I try to do all kinds of cool things in the summer and it brings to mind a great topic.   How do you cover your hair?   Beach in a shaitel? I dont think so – at least not me! Ever lose your wig – or almost in hershey park. Been there. Done that. To all our new and devoted customers- I would like to go over and  explain some of our products in the section called "hats and head coverings"   We will be understanding what the differences is -between the Tichel kerchief and Oversized pretieds. These two categories can be found in the shop by department - hats and head coverings  Tichel - Kerchief   What is a Tichel? Sometimes called a Kerchief as well.    A Tichel is a square scarf that  we  fold and make into a head scaf. I would say that your Bubby -most likely wore this style head covering in Europe, in the Shtetl. All married Jewish ladies covered their hair out of modesty and a sign that she is married. Fabric and texture have come a long way  in the Tichel world. We no longer tie the kerchief under our chin in the front. The Tichel is pretied with our soft elastic in the back. We offer sizes on the elastic so there is no need to tie. Another novelty is the Strip grip that is built into the front inner side to help keep your head wear from sliding around   Oversized pretieds   Now lets talk about the Oversized pretieds. This section  is different because its not a square scarf that we work with. We buy fabric on a roll and we cut the fabric into  headwear. The end results is pretty similar to the Tichel kerchief.  This too has a built in elastic for a pretied look. Some woman like the fabric feel and texture  better then a Tichel or vis versa. Hair is good on heads… not so good in food!   If you think you've always got your hair covered, take this survey:   How often do you, your husband, or one of your kids find hair in their food?   Ingrediants:  1 egg, beaten 1 container  (15 oz.)  Ricotta Cheese 2 cups Shreded Cheese Blend 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning 1 jar  (26 oz.) spaghetti sauce, divided 16 lasagna noodles, cooked 1/4 cup  Grated Parmesan Cheese   HEAT oven to 375ºF. MIX first 5 ingredients until well blended. SPREAD 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish. Spread each noodle with 3 Tbsp. cheese mixture; roll up. Place, seam-sides down, in dish. Top with remaining sauce and Parmesan; cover. BAKE 40 to 50 min. or until heated through, uncovering the last 10 min.
