WHAT THE HECK IS AN ANGLE SWEATER?!     Well who wears pullover sweaters?  It seems to me that the feminine world of fashion wears sweaters without zippers, buttons or snaps. Now that it's finally summer, I took a quick jaunt to the beach with my three kids. I had just finished readjusting my pretied bandana and was helping my three-year-old dig up her small neon-green Croc from the sand when I almost FLIPPED OUT!   About three feet away from me stood another religious lady at the beach in – I kid you not – a Shaitel. Yes! She apparently put on her fine, custom, $3,500 + wig to go to the beach?! Oxidize much?!   “You have got to be kidding me!” was my first reaction.   Then my not highly conditioned enough reflex of “different strokes for different folks” kicked in.   Ingrediants:  1 egg, beaten 1 container  (15 oz.)  Ricotta Cheese 2 cups Shreded Cheese Blend 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning 1 jar  (26 oz.) spaghetti sauce, divided 16 lasagna noodles, cooked 1/4 cup  Grated Parmesan Cheese   HEAT oven to 375ºF. MIX first 5 ingredients until well blended. SPREAD 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish. Spread each noodle with 3 Tbsp. cheese mixture; roll up. Place, seam-sides down, in dish. Top with remaining sauce and Parmesan; cover. BAKE 40 to 50 min. or until heated through, uncovering the last 10 min.

                 This is not your grandmothers turban! This headband has a twisted knot on the top. We make our headband turbans two tone color for fun. In the past headbands were worn under your hair at the base of your neck. We are seeing more and more of our trendy customers wearing the band on top of their hair. You can see a complete circle of the band.       Going out in this humid heat can be unbearable, however I find that when I wear this headband I am able to handle the heat. The headband kept my hair away from my face and I could actually feel a  breeze.   Home made bagels - so easy - so good.       1 1/4 cups water 4 1/2 cups bread flour 3 tablespoons white sugar 1 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons vegetable oil  1 tablespoon instant yeast 4 quarts water 1 cup honey (optional) Directions Combine 1 1/4 cup water, flour, sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, vegetable oil, and yeast in the mixing bowl of a stand mixer.  Mix on low speed using the dough hook until well-developed, about 8 minutes. To ensure the gluten has developed fully, cut off a walnut-sized piece of dough. Flour your fingers, and then stretch the dough: if it tears immediately, the dough needs more kneading. Fully developed dough should form a thin translucent "windowpane." Transfer the dough to a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with plastic wrap and a kitchen towel, and let rise for 2 hours. Punch the dough down, place it on a lightly floured work surface, and use a knife or dough scraper to divide the dough into 6 pieces (or more, for smaller bagels). Roll each piece of dough into a sausage shape about 6 inches long. Join the ends to form a circle. Repeat with the remaining dough, and let the bagels rest for 15 minutes. Preheat oven to 475 degrees F (245 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange small plates with poppy seeds, sesame seeds, and onion flakes next to the baking sheet. Bring 4 quarts water to a boil in a large pot. Add honey, if desired (see Editor's Note). Boil the bagels, three at a time, until they rise to the surface of the pot, about 1 minute per side. Remove the bagels with a slotted spoon and place them on the parchment-lined baking sheet. Dip the tops of the wet bagels into the toppings and arrange them, seeds up, on the baking sheet. Sprinkle with coarse salt, if desired. Bake in the preheated oven until the bagels begin to brown, 15 to 20 minutes.   Adding honey or barley malt syrup to the boiling water bath gives the bagels a pleasing chewy texture with a hint of sweetness.
